Water on the Road

 

Back home safely from the surgeon visit. He decided to do my surgery bright and early (6am check in) on next Wednesday (5/10). I actually feel better about that because I am still clearing a lot from my lungs from last night's aspiration. I am not sure it would've been wise to go under general anesthesia today as it usually irritates my airways even without any. Otherwise, he was pleased with my progress. I was relieved to hear him say that. He said it is a journey not a race. Ima have to keep reminding myself of that. Also, Padgett Singleton Mozingo he LOVED the basket of goodies. He actually took it and made a bee line to the door when I said it was sour dough. I am not altogether sure he is going to share lol Thank you for all the yummies you make. If anyone local to the greater Columbia SC area is interested, check out her nonprofit, (picture and link below). She sells and delivers the best sour dough bread, cinnamon rolls, cakes, preserves, chocolate pretzels and other yummy goodies and she also will arrange it into a gift basket for all your needs. I just took one to the surgeon and one to the nursing staff on the ICU floor today as thank yous....not saying it got me out of having surgery today..... buttt I gave him the basket and then the surgery was next week, and he went to go slice some of the bread :) Cowinkidink???
