Tomorrow is Scan Day!

 

So, it is finally here.  Tomorrow is my repeat PET scan down in Charleston.  I have to be there at 945. The actual scan will probably be 10:30-11amish. Prayers please that it is a good report, nothing is missed, and we can create the right next step plan for healing. Prayers also for travel mercies there and back. 

Thankfully, I won't have to wait long for the results. I meet with the surgeon at 1pm also in Charleston and he will have the results for me then. 

As for everything else going on in the Slot household...we are finally COVID free around here!!! Maeryn just seemed to hang on to her positive for the longest time.  I actually missed her presence and tiktok dancing lol 

Paul and I have resumed our fulltime tutoring. It was a bit overwhelming/exhausting last week but I rested this weekend and I think I am back into the swing of things. I missed all of the smiling kiddos faces immensely! Did I mention yet how much I love my job??? :) 

I have been introspective these last couple of weeks. Several friends have recently passed away and a few friends have lost close family members. It makes you really take a look around and evaluate your own life and what you are doing or are not doing. Lots of thoughts running through my head regarding all of that but I am going to save them for my next post as I have alot of organizing to do to get ready for tomorrow still.
