(I have been posting some of the most urgent prayer requests on Facebook as they arise. This was one from yesterday. I apologize to those who are strictly following the blog and do not have Facebook. I have developed cellulitis (a skin infection). I am on antibiotics thankfully. Prayers please that the infection responds favorably to the medicine and that it clears up with no complications quickly. Also continued prayers regarding getting COVID out of our home...specifically prayers for Ms. Maeryn that her body clears this COVID, and she can finally test negative so our family can start to put this all behind us. She isn't feeling terrible anymore thankfully but isolating from everyone has been difficult for her...and for us having to be separated from her. Our oncologist recommends her isolate until she has two negative rapid tests 48 hours apart. (Update 1/11: Maeryn is still positive this morning, though it was a way fainter line, we will test again on Friday.)
